FAQ

Questions buyers and curators ask.

What AfterBid is, what it needs from you, and where people stay in control.

The product

What is AfterBid?

Programmatic intelligence for agencies, brands and curators. It connects campaign delivery with the publisher supply behind it, finds what changed, recommends what to do next and measures whether it worked.

Is AfterBid a DSP, SSP or bidder?

No. AfterBid doesn’t buy or sell media and never sits in the path of the ads. It works alongside the platforms you already use.

Does it add latency to the auction?

No. AfterBid works outside the auction, so it doesn’t slow down bidding.

Platforms and data

Which platforms does it work with?

AfterBid is DSP and SSP agnostic. It connects to the platforms you already use, and your campaign history stays with you if you change platform. Ask us about yours.

What access does AfterBid need?

To start, read-only access to your reporting. Anything more is agreed with you, for a specific purpose.

Do publishers need to install anything?

No. AfterBid looks at the public pages your ads run on. No publisher integration is needed.

What happens to our campaign data?

It stays yours. Your bids, spend and results are used for your account and aren’t shared with other clients. What AfterBid learns about publisher supply in general, such as how a page carries its ads, can inform everyone’s recommendations. Your campaign results can’t.

Recommendations and control

Can AfterBid change a campaign on its own?

No. Nothing changes until a named person approves it. Supply-side changes are then applied in the connected platform. Buyer-side settings, such as bids, pacing and budgets in the DSP, stay with the buyer: AfterBid sends them the recommendation and they decide.

What does a recommendation include?

What changed, the evidence behind it, who owns the change and how the result will be measured. If evidence is missing, it says so.

Is it AI? Can we trust the numbers?

AI helps investigate and explain what’s happening. The numbers come from your reporting, not from a model, and nothing changes without a person’s approval.

Measurement

How do you know a change worked?

Each approved change is measured after it goes live, against a comparison that wasn’t changed wherever that’s possible. If there isn’t enough evidence to call it, we say so.

What happens to changes that didn’t work?

They’re kept. Knowing what didn’t work is as useful as knowing what did, and it stops the same test being run twice.

Getting started

Is the campaign on this site real?

No. NOVA Mobile, its NOVA X1 campaign and the publisher pages shown are fictional, used to show how the product behaves. The figures are illustrative, not client results.

How do I see AfterBid in action?

Request a walkthrough. We’ll follow one campaign through the system, from the first delivery signal to the stored result.
